Just to let you all know that the wine bar "el Buen Vino" has
officially opened in Bucerias! They are at Av. Mexico #27, 3 blocks
north of the main plaza, and 1 block from the beach, between Hidalgo
and Guerrero. Adam and Nicola look forward to seeing you soon, so
drop in, look around and say "HI'!
Chinese Takee Outee is back.
They will be open on a limited basis for Buddy's The Bar Above has closed for the summer season.
Buddy says "See you all next season with specials and new menu items!
Have a nice summer". Mezzogiorno will be closing on every Monday starting April
7th thru the end of Buddy's Bar Above will be closed for a couple of weeks.

Italian restaurant in town called La Quinta di
Francesco. This one has very reasonable prices. It is
located on the
corner of Agustin Melgar and Constituyentes, one block off the
lateral
by the car wash and one block toward the lateral from Espressions.
The
food is good and plentiful. Francesco, the owner, had a special
opening night for invited guests. He donated all proceeds equally
to
Manos de Amor and R.l.S.E., the orphanage in Puerto Vallarta.

Frascati's, La Cruz, is starting a Preferred Customer Program, and the
management of Frascati, as a token of appreciation, is giving away
the
Frequent Customer Card to all the locals, foreigners and nationals
of
Banderas Bay. With the card, you will be part of our preferred
customer program, and you will receive a 10 per cent discount on
your
dinners.

Miguel Angel Restaurant, in Bucerias Centro. For more
Sweet Things Bake Shop & Cafe is open. Hours of operation:
8 a.m. to 3 p.m. They will be serving breakfast and lunch, as well
as the off sales bakeshop where you will be able to pick up breads
and pastries to take home. An added bonus, a long needed
community bulletin board, compliments of Manos de Amor, will be
displayed on the premises. This is the place to advertise
for help wanted, items wanted or for sale, etc. Ads cannot
exceed 4 x 5 inches. No commercial printed ads. Ads
must be dated and will be removed after two weeks. So,
peruse the ads, and enjoy Sandy's great cooking.
Bambú Café
has re-opened. The hours are 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Their
are a few changes to the menu, including the addition of the Big
Bambú Burrito to the afternoon menu. Breakfast is of course
available all day. A full bar is open all day, as well.
A new seafood restaurant has opened at Ave. Estaciones #4
(2nd traffic signal in Bucerias), across the side street from
Famar's. They advertise restaurant and bar but do not have
their liquor license yet. I think you can bring your own.

La Cascada, La Cruz, will be serving lobster for $210
pesos, starting Wednesday, Nov. 28th. They hope to have
specials every week during high season.

La Reve (formerly Hikuri), in La Cruz, is open from 9 a.m. to 2
p.m.
and 6-12 p.m., everyday except Tuesday. On Mondays, Gene and Ron play contemporary music. On Saturdays, Tatewari play Flamenco. La Reve is located at Coral #66. The Sunday Jam sessions have begun at Anna Banana's, La Cruz. Music starts around 4:00 pm. Bring your instruments or just come listen. Russell's Rib Wagon will be there as well. Mezzogiorno has re-opened for the season, everyday except Monday.
In case you are wondering what is happening across the street from
Mark's-Massimo is building a new Italian restaurant. He expects
to open in December. His son, who operated the Avenue Bistro
(formerly Carolina's) will be the chef.
