Caledonia Restaurant (La Cruz e Huanacaxtle):
Following the loss of their daughter Ceri in a road accident in March,
Carol and John Innes organized a Benefit to raise funds to acquire a
prosthetic limb for a young man who lost his leg in an accident.
Due to the generosity and unbelievable support from so many people,
Tavo was fitted with his new leg shortly before Christmas. They would
like to express their gratitude to everyone for making this dream come
true. It is a wonderful Christmas present and a fabulous way to begin
the New Year. It is also a fitting tribute to Ceri. Since the
accident, John & Carol closed Caledonia to focus on their Property
Management business but will shortly be opening a small restaurant
named Arriba in  the La Cruz Inn.

There is a young, white, lab type dog found at Punta del Burro. She is

Recently received a report from a US veterinarian stating that grapes and raisins may be
poisonous to your dogs.  The ASCPA National Animal Poison control said as few as
7 raisins or grapes could be toxic. Many people I know give their dogs grapes
or raisins as treats.
Any exposure should give rise to immediate concern.  Be careful what you give your animals.

I understand there are a lot of cats, dogs, kittens, puppies
in need of adoption
, as usual.
